Once again, Milan becomes the epicentre of international fashion, the hosting Milan Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2024 Women's collectionFrom 20 to 26 February, established and emerging brands will exhibit their collections in many parts of the city. 

Celebrities, international VIPs and influencers will all gather in Milan to participate in over 160 events and, above all, to see the big fashion brands enliven the metropolis with their catwalks over the course of the six day event.

Milan Fashion Week 2024: catwalk shows

 

Milan Fashion Week Women promises a packed schedule which currently includes 56 physical runway shows, including 2 double shows, 5 digital shows, and 26 events, with an estimated 100,000 expected visitors. 

As always, Fashion Week showcases established names and rising young talents. Headlining the schedule is Iceberg, opening on Wednesday, 21 February, followed by Fendi and EtroDiesel will also present a runway show open to the public, continuing its tradition.

On 22 February, giants such as Max MaraPrada and Tom Ford will take the stage. Great anticipation surrounds the following day when Gucci by Sabato de Sarno will show at 15:00, followed by Versace in the evening. On the 24th, FerragamoDolce & Gabbana, and Bottega Veneta will present their collections, while the grand finale on Sunday will be entrusted to Giorgio Armani. 

The concluding day on 26 February will feature several runway shows exclusively in digital format, including those by AnnakikiMaison NencioniPhan Dang Hoang, and Laura Biagiotti.

Milan Fashion Week also provides a prestigious stage for emerging talents. Notable among the first-time runway presenters are Feben, a brand  supported by Dolce & Gabbana, and Sagaboi, a men's brand founded in 2015.

As for major Milan comebacks, on the other hand, the schedule includes renowned names such as Elisabetta Franchi and Marni, celebrating its thirtieth year on the global runways.

Women's Fashion Week is not just about runway shows but also features events that make the week even richer and more interesting.

It starts on Tuesday, 20 February, at 17:00 at Palazzo Giureconsulti, with the inauguration of the Fashion Hub of the National Chamber of Italian Fashion. This hub is an incubator of ideas hosting projects that link fashion to themes such as innovation, sustainability, craftsmanship and education. 

This edition will showcase various works that highlight these values, including Designers For The PlanetA Global Movement To Uplift Underrepresented BrandsMFW ForwardFashion for Planet Open Parliament and Fashion To Reconnect

Moreover, to support various emerging brands and independent Made In Italy labels, the National Chamber of Italian Fashion will award the CNMI Fashion Trust Gran 2024.

On 22 February, the German brand Viviers will hold a special presentation at Starbucks Roastery, in Piazza Cordusio. On 25 February, the Black Carpet Awards will be held at the Royal Palace, following the success of last year's inaugural edition. The event celebrates diversity and inclusion and is promoted by the Afro Fashion Association.

 

Milan's Most Iconic neighbourhoods

 

Don't miss the opportunity to explore the city's most iconic districts, immersed in an electrifying atmosphere. A must-visit is the Quadrilatero della Moda, known worldwide for its luxury shops and a favourite destination for prestigious shopping.
