UNA Hotels & Resorts, together with “Regione Toscana” (the Regional Authority of Tuscany), the local authorities of Mugello and the Italian Golf Federation, hosted the Mugello Tuscany Open 2010.
The Dutch player Floris de Vries won the competition on the last hole.

This tournament, valid for the European challenge circuit, played from the 20th to the 23rd of May 2010 on the exclusive course of the UNA Poggio dei Medici Golf Club, was the first Italian event of the Pilsner Urquell Protour circuit.
More than 150 professional players from all over the world took part in this event.
This course, already the venue of the Ladies Italian Open, is one of the most prestigious golf courses in Italy, designed by Baldovino Dassù and the architect Alvise Rossi. It has 18 holes par 72.
The course is in the heart of the Tuscan countryside with unequalled views of the castles and ancient churches of nearby towns.
